Acadia National Park - It is a little more than an hour drive from the cottage to the
summit of Cadillac mountain. Acadia is beautiful and not to be missed, but make sure
and leave early in the morning during the peak summer months to avoid the traffic.
Cadillac Mountain, the loop road, and Sand beach are particular highlights. Try the
Jordan Pond restaurant for great popovers and a fun locale. There are several easy day
